Donations to our charity Hastings Bonfire Trust are used on our bonfire and insurance, and to store and service our charity assets - banners, and (hireable) barriers and road signs.

We collect cash in our collection buckets. In the days/weeks before our event, we have buckets available around the Old Town for donations for our printed programmes. During our procession, we encourage attendance from approved local charities and community association groups, and their organisation then receives a percentage of the funds they help collect. For 2025 we again pass on 30% of takings to such other charities, with 70% being retained by our charity.
